>A Bronx Halloween Tale

Halloween in the South Bronx is a little different than most places. Even though most youngsters everywhere trick or treat early in the evening, in the South Bronx coming home before the sun goes down is imperative according to most parents.  As one lady put it, “people be buggin out later on in the evening! I ain’t trying to fuck wit that!”Whatever stores were brave enough to hand out candy rather than post a sign that read “Sorry, all out of candy” would be completely overrun in some instances by legions of young ghouls, spider-men, and witches.
